Fable II episodic content announced for Games on Demand section
Lionhead has finally revealed what all of those Revolutionary figures shown on their web site recently had in common, the quest for power and greatness. Its official now that we will be seeing Fable III during the Fall of 2010 Holiday Season and the race for the Crown has begun. Taking place five decades from the time you left off with your Hero, its now your child that will become the King or Queen in Fable III.
They claim big things are in store with the latest installment and you can either rule justly or become a tyrant and perhaps risk it all. Only thing that I hope for my King is the ability to throw out the people and shut the door to my very own chambers if I so choose to do so.
They have released a teaser trailer for the upcoming game, but I don’t think it really shows that much to excite anyone just yet. That will all very well change between now and the early parts of next year and as more information is released for Fable III.
More ways to enjoy Fable II
If you haven’t had a chance to experience Fable II, then you’ll get a chance to do so as a download of episodic content. Lionhead Studios and Microsoft have decided to release Fable II in the Games On Demand section now in 5 installments, the first chapter being free for all to explore. At the end you can decide to pick up the next chapter or purchase the remaining portions if you like.
The episodes will also work with the retail versions if you select to buy the game later and they include all of the same achievements and features as well. The episodic content will allow those who are not sure wether they would like Fable II or not to actually play a good portion of the game and get a better idea and feel for the game.
