Basics:

He’s 29 years old, married with twin toddler girls. He currently just started attending Full Sail University to get a Bachelor of Science in Entertainment Business. He works full time as a drafter/designer, and spends most of his free time, after family and school, playing games and writing reviews.

Gaming:

He started gaming back in 1984-85ish with the Atari 2600. Then he started going to the arcades with his uncle at least once a week if not more. His console gaming career started with the NES in 1986. Then he moved onto the Sega Genesis in 1991, followed by the Nintendo 64 in ’96. During college, he began to play with his friend’s Playstation until he bought his own (’98-2000), he was then gifted the Playstation 2 in 2000, he purchased the Xbox in 2004, Xbox 360 in 2006, and PS3 in 2008. He also plays on the Nintendo DS and PSP.

In the past 25 years of playing games, he has played games ranging from Madden to Final Fantasy to Mortal Kombat. Some of his favorite games are the NHL series, Halo, Kingdom Hearts, Bioshock, Zelda, Super Mario Galaxy, Ratchet and Clank, Metal Gear Solid series, Gears of War, and Final Fantasy VII.

In Short: I’m from Boston, MA. Been an avid gamer since I was a wee-lil boy and have owned nearly every gaming console (even Turbo Grafx16, 3D0, and Jaguar). I’m also a musician/producer/audio engineer, that will eventually work on some game soundtracks – if a development house gives me the opp. I love talking and writing reviews about games, and am currently working hard on starting a Video Game ” Documenta-cast” called: One Game @ A Time. Hey whats up everybody, my name is Matt, AKA MrB4. I am 24 years old, I’m from Cleveland, Ohio, and I have been into Video Games since I was about 6 years old(when I got my first system, the NES). I like to play games on the Wii and DS mostly, simply because I am a fan of all things Nintendo. I do own a PSP and 360 also, and I do like to play games on them sometimes, but mostly with friends who want to play games like COD4, Gears, Halo, ETC,, everybody seems to be playing them all of the time, so I figured why not join the Party right?

I used to be a big fan of RPG’s like Shining Force I and II, Phantasy Star IV, and Final Fantasy VII when I was younger, but no so much anymore. My favorite genres are Action Adventure, FPS and Third-Person Shooters, and Sports. My Favorite sports game is Madden, which I upgrade to the new version every year (even though everybody else thinks its a waste of money). I cannot wait for Modern Warfare 2, since COD4 was one of my favoite FPS games of all time. The Conduit is coming out soon also for the Wii, which might also be my contender for best FPS game, guess I’ll just have to wait and see what happens with that one.

What I do for the site is I try to update people on as much Nintendo news as I possibly can. I do this because I really have a passion, not only for journalism, but for trying to inform people about a console that they should not miss out on, and that is the Wii. I update people on all of the news that is going on throughout all of the Wii’s and DS’s online services, write reviews about games, and talk about miscellanious news stories that have to do with Nintendo.

I hope to start a Nintendo podcast someday soon, because I feel that alot of communities out there are really not taking the Wii seriously at all. I believe if someone like myself could somehow do an Adult oriented podcast about all things Nintendo, and talk about it in a way where people my age and older could relate to what I am tlaking about, then I think there would be alot more respect for those gamers who spend most of their time playing games on Nintendo Systems.

I am an average gamer who knows what he is talking about when it comes to the systems that I play my Video games on. Like me or Hate me, I will never change, and that is the bottom line.
