Nintendo Download of the Week: 1/03 Edition

The first set of downloads for the new year doesn’t look too promising if you ask me. No virtual console releases to speak of is a big disappointment as well. Who knows though, a gem could exist amongst these offerings, so let’s give them a chance. So here it is, my pick for Nintendo Download of the Week for January 3rd, 2011.

My pic for this week is going to have to go to Ghost Mania for the Wiiware service. It has an ESRB rating of E for Everyone, and will be available for download soon through the Wii Shop Channel at the asking price of 500 Wii points. The reason why I choose this one was fairly simple, I love puzzle games and ghosts, enough said. Anybody who feels the same way should check this game out as soon as it becomes available. If this doesn’t sound that fun to you, then try to get over a cold in Sneezies, or check out a demo for Robox.

Those looking for a quick fix on the go will have three new DSiWare titles to check out. Relive some of award winning game developer Jason Rohrer’s best games by checking out Alt-Play: Jason Rohrer Anthology. Find words, without ever having to use a pen in Word Searcher 2. Keep the beat of the song going strong with Music On: Drums.
